| Kurt took this about a week after we got Lucy. On a whim, he sent it to the local news when they asked for snow pictures... and guess who made it onto local television?? Always a diva. |
It's snowing! Finally. I was beginning to think we'd have been back in Colorado all this time with no snow.
Thing is though, it's not as much fun without Lucy.
She LOVES snow. We called her white lightning because the minute she got outside she would start doing laps around our house. All you would see it a blonde blur speeding by all the windows.
Then she would stop to catch her breath, root her nose around in the fresh snow... and start again.
It has been so hard knowing that she will really never be with us again.
Although I'm glad she is with family, my heart is heavy.
Only dog lovers really understand though...so maybe someone gets it. ''
In the meantime, we are packing up to go out to San Francisco tomorrow.
I think I will throw on a couple of Christmas movies to go with the snow too, it's only right.

Snow day! Oh, I could really go for one of those. I think it was snowing up on Mt Etna today, and that volcano is NOT that far from my kitchen window, for better or worse. We might head up there with friends to do some sledding with the kiddos this weekend!
So freaking cute!!!!!! I want Lucy.
