Do you know what happens when you move to Israel?
Lots of things.
You eat more pita.
You realize that things like "waiting in line" aren't cross-cultural.
You thank God you own slippers to battle the tile floors.
And... you watch Downton Abbey every night online.
Because here...Season 3 is already over.
And let me tell you, YOU are IN FOR IT.
Don't you want to come visit even more now?

Kurt and I were talking with another couple last week about DA.
Why is it so good?
Why do we love it?
Those first few notes on the piano start off an episode and immediately, we are fixed.
We agreed that despite the obvious draws (the clothes, the plot, the clothes...)
it is just a GOOD show.
Just when I start to doubt the characters, they take the high road.
We can cheer them on because they are good people (mostly).
They give you hope.
We could use a few hundred more characters to cheer for on tv.
And not just to get a final rose.
So....go make tea, put your slippers on and watch.

Gah! errbody keeps talking about DA... guess I'm gonna have to jump on the bandwagon myself. So the hubs like it too? Me and the BF are searching for shows to start watching from the beginning. : )
